JRV Home Services is a privately owned company started with the everyday Joe or Jane in mind. JRV is named after the CEO’s children, JR and Victor.

The idea behind JRV is to provide simple, no-nonsense heating and air condition services to homeowners and businesses at a great value. JRV is an up-and-coming company looking to change the industry through cutting edge technology and excellent service. Our management and technicians are professionally trained and have been working in the industry for years, so we are able to diagnose and fix your problems right the first time. Our goal is to make preventive maintenance, repairs, and new installations as easy as possible and speak to you in layman’s terms (in English or En Español) to make you as comfortable as possible. Charles “Chuck” Artale

– Business Development Director (HVAC)

Way back in the day, in the early 80’s, Chuck earned his degree in Construction Management from Southwest Missouri State. Soon after, he moved to the great state of Texas to join his brothers, Steve, and Dennis.

After strong convincing by Steve’s wife Paula to get a job, Chuck moved out and came onto the HVAC scene in 1983 as a designer. During this 40-year period, he has designed, supervised, and managed thousands of installations for Texas homeowners. Chuck’s name is now synonymous with great HVAC design, and he is a pillar of the San Antonio industry. He is an honorary Aggie through his daughter, Maddie, who graduated from Texas A&M University and is now a physician’s assistant. 

Eric Ramirez

Chief of Business Development

Eric (Kool-aid) is a fun-loving, high-energy veteran in the HVAC industry, bringing over 20 years of experience to the JRV team. He is a trailblazer in design and driven by technological advancements in HVAC. What Eric loves most is educating customers and delivering a comfortable and smart HVAC system. When not working, he enjoys WWE and collecting sports and nostalgic memorabilia. He, along with his wife Marisol and their three kids, Alyssa, Lana, and Logan, love going to music venues, travelling, and spending time with their fur babies.

Mark Leal

Chief of Field Operations

Mark has over 17 years of HVAC experience. He loves solving wicked HVAC problems. His passion is sharing his experience and knowledge with anyone willing to learn. Mark is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and provide world-class customer service. Mark is inspired daily by his wife Larissa and their three kids, Serena, Sammy, and Mark Jr.

Rene Alvarado

General Manager

Rene gained his HVAC experience at the young age of 10 helping his dad, Juan Alvarado, who has over 45 years of industry experience. During his summers off from school, he would assist with installing rough-ins. With his 5 yrs. of HVAC procurement experience and analytical background working in various industries such as healthcare and tourism, Rene provides excellent service and management of large teams. Rene earned his degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He enjoys backyard BBQs with friends and family, wife Tania, and son Nico.

Dylan Menn

Chief of Design & Estimating

Dylan started HVAC Design and Estimating in 2006.  During the 17 years, he has masterfully perfected HVAC design.  Dylan has elevated the design and estimating process to a modern tech-based solution.  His love for gaming and technology has positively impacted many JRV business processes.  When he’s not designing you can find Dylan conquering many challenges in the virtual gaming world, racing with his son Connor in Mario Kart, or binge-watching reality tv shows with his wife Becky.

Darius Gil

Business Development Director (HVAC)

Darius started his HVAC career alongside his father, Alfred Gil, when he was just 15 years old.  It sparked a passion for the industry which still burns strong after over 35 years.  He enjoys the challenges of commercial HVAC projects and loves delivering a well thought out designed and executed project.  Darius is a man of faith and enjoys supporting his community of Seguin volunteering with various organizations.  He loves frying fish with his wife Irene and their two kids Maddie and Trey.

Col. Clint Hughey

Business Development Director (HVAC)

Iraq War Veteran, Clint, LTC, retired, joined JRV as the SR Director of Business Development in 2023.  Prior to his military service, Clint worked in the commercial HVAC mechanical service industry, plumbing and pipe fitting in the construction field.  A graduate of Texas A&M University, Clint builds upon the JRV foundation expanding into new markets for HVAC design, estimation, and installation.  Clint met his wife Jennifer in kindergarten.  They enjoy the great outdoors, skiing, and fishing.  He is an avid hunter spending his off time in South Central Texas in pursuit of the next great hunt.

Charles Claville

Chief Business Officer

As a military brat, Charles moved all over the world with his family gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience. One of his father’s many jobs in the Air Force was an HVAC tech where Charles picked up his knowledge of the industry. That knowledge combined with his over 30 years of business operations and financial experience as the VP of Finance at SeaWorld and the CFO at San Antonio Zoo provides the perfect combination to lead the JRV Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources teams. When relaxing at home, Charles enjoys gardening, and watching sports with his wife, Kelly, and children, Kobey, Jarvis, Allie, Abigail, and Avery.

Katie Heredia

Production Manager

Katie was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and later relocated to San Antonio in 2001. She started her career in the food and beverage industry, where she gained valuable experience in customer service and management over the course of 13 years. In 2018, Katie transitioned into the HVAC field and has worked in that industry ever since. Outside of work, Katie enjoys indulging in her hobbies, which include cooking, playing Zelda, and collecting tattoos.

Isaac Heredia

Warehouse Manager

Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, Isaac later moved to San Antonio in 2006. Being a lifelong athlete, he developed a passion for baseball from a young age and continues to pursue his athletic interests by playing golf as frequently as his schedule permits. Professionally, he was employed in the food and beverage industry, having undergone training as a skilled Sushi Chef. However, his career journey changed course in 2013 when he transitioned into HVAC, initially working in the warehouse before steadily climbing the ranks to a managerial position. Outside of work, Isaac indulges in various hobbies, including gardening, golfing, and honing his culinary skills in the kitchen.
